One of the goals of our church family is to provide opportunities for YOU to "plug in" and engage your spiritual gifts as a vital part of the local church body. Here are a few ways for you to connect and plug in:
- Worship Ministry
Worship should be a daily personal lifestyle activity, however, it is also part of the larger corporate experience as well.
- LIFE Groups
LIFE groups are interactive discussion and fellowship opportunities for believers or seekers. The thrust of what we do is simple: Jesus said that the enemy came to destroy us, but He came so we could have LIFE… and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
- Student Ministry (6th-12th Grade)
Student Ministry is an essential part of developing students in their growth in Christ. Our students meet on Wednesday Nights at 6:00-7:30 PM for CBC Students and Sunday Mornings during the 9:00 AM hour for LIFE groups. Additionally the student ministry hosts various activities, trips, and retreats throughout the year. You can find more info about student events and activities on the Students Page.
- Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry exists to assist our pastor in developing men to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
- Women's Group
Women's Ministry exists to introduce women to and deepen a woman's walk with Christ.
- AWANA (Age 2 - Grade 6)
Awana is an international, Bible-centered children's ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students in preschool through 6th Gradel. Our goal is to equip churches to reach children and teenagers, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. (Learn about the prayer, vision, mission and values of Awana.) The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. Our AWANA program meets Wednesday Nights during the school year.
- Children's Ministry (K-5 through 5th Grade)
The purpose of our Sunday morning children's ministry is to come along side families in leading children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for them to grow in knowledge and understanding of their role in fulfilling the great commission.
- Intercessory Prayer
We have an intercessory prayer team at Calvary. If you have an urgent prayer need feel free to e-mail our prayer team coordinator here.
